Size Guide

Thoughtfully designed for comfort, proportion and versatile wear. At Rare Bird Collection, each piece is created to sit beautifully as part of your everyday story — whether worn close to the neckline, layered with intention, or styled as a statement. Our size guide is designed to help you choose with confidence, while understanding how each silhouette is meant to wear and move with you.

As many of our pieces are artisan-finished and assembled by hand, slight variations in measurements may occur and are part of the individuality of each design.

Necklace Length Guide

Necklace Length Guide

Finding Your Length

Different necklace lengths create different styling expressions — from refined everyday layering to elongated statement silhouettes. Use the guide below as a reference for how each length typically sits when worn.

42–46 cm  /  16.5–18 in
A Classic Proportion

Sits just below the collarbone — refined, versatile and effortless for everyday styling or layering with longer silhouettes.

96–100 cm  /  37–39 in
A Rare Bird Signature

Designed with a longer drape and sculptural presence, it creates a fluid line that elongates the silhouette. Looped, it transforms into layered styling that moves effortlessly with you. One piece. Multiple expressions.

Many Rare Bird Collection necklaces are intentionally created in longer proportions to bring fluidity and movement to everyday wear. Designed for layering, doubling, or styling over dresses and structured silhouettes.

A Simple Way to Estimate Necklace Length

To better visualise how a necklace may sit:

  • Use a measuring tape or string around your neck.
  • Adjust it to the listed necklace length.
  • Observe where the length naturally falls against your neckline and outfit.
As body proportions and styling preferences differ from person to person, necklace placement may vary slightly when worn. Slight measurement variations may also occur due to handcrafted detailing and artisan assembly.

Ring Size Guide

Measuring Your Ring Size

For the most comfortable fit, we recommend measuring your finger at the end of the day when fingers are at their natural size.

Option 1 — Using a Ring You Already Own

Select a ring that fits comfortably on your intended finger and measure the inner diameter.

Option 2 — Measuring Your Finger

  • Cut a strip of paper or use a soft string.
  • Wrap it gently around your finger.
  • Mark where the ends meet.
  • Measure the length against a ruler.
Avoid pulling too tightly — your ring should feel secure yet comfortable enough for natural movement. As finger sizes may vary throughout the day and between hands, we recommend sizing up if you are between sizes.

Bracelet Size Guide

Finding Your Bracelet Fit

Our bracelets are designed to rest naturally against the wrist — never too tight, never too loose. Designed with a relaxed fit, they offer a looser drape for effortless layering and everyday wear. Each bracelet includes a slight extension for adjustable comfort and fit.

How to Measure Your Wrist

Wrap a soft measuring tape or string around your wrist where you would naturally wear your bracelet.

If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up for a relaxed feel, or down for a closer, more refined fit.

Earring Size Guide

Understanding Earring Proportions

Earring dimensions can sometimes feel difficult to visualise online. The guide below is designed to help you better understand how different sizes may appear when worn.

1–1.5 cm
Refined & Subtle

Typically sits neatly within the earlobe area for an understated everyday look.

2–3 cm
Balanced Presence

Balanced with more visible presence while remaining versatile for daily styling. Noticeable while remaining easy to style.

4 cm and above
Statement Presence

Designed with stronger statement presence and visual impact. Ideal for elevated styling, occasion wear, or pieces with sculptural detailing.

As every ear shape and proportion differs slightly, the guide above serves as a general styling reference. Many Rare Bird Collection earrings are intentionally designed with sculptural framing and balanced proportions to create visual presence while remaining thoughtfully comfortable for extended wear.

A Simple Way to Estimate Size at Home

To better visualise dimensions before purchase:

  • Use a ruler to measure the stated size online.
  • Mark the measurement on paper.
  • Cut it out and hold it gently against your ear in front of a mirror.

This provides a clearer sense of proportion and how the piece may appear when worn.

As our pieces are artisan-finished and assembled by hand, slight measurement variations may occur and are part of the individuality of each design.

Measuring Tips at Home

A Few Helpful Notes

  • Measurements are best taken using a soft measuring tape.
  • If using string or paper, lay it flat against a ruler for accuracy.
  • Consider how you prefer your jewellery to sit — closer, classic, or relaxed.
  • Layering styles may wear differently depending on height and proportions.
  • Slight variations may occur due to handcrafted detailing and artisan assembly.
