The Medallion Collection is Rare Bird’s interpretation of that tradition.

Our starting point was the visual language of old emblems and decorative tiles — compositions in which every shape, border and colour seemed to contain something more than ornament. We reworked these references into intricate enamel artworks, framed in sculptural metal to give each piece the of a small object discovered and kept.

Unlike conventional jewellery centred around a single stone, the story here sits within the artwork itself. Colour, pattern and symbol become the centrepiece.

And while every medallion begins with our story, we believe it ultimately takes on the meaning of its wearer. It may remind you of somewhere you have travelled, something you believe in, a chapter of your life, or simply a pattern that inexplicably speaks to you.
